The ICTP has issued its 1999 Scientific Calendar. In addition to the Centre's long-standing list of successful activities--for example, colleges on plasma and medical physics and schools on differential and algebraic geometry--the Calendar includes several noteworthy new ventures. In February, there will be a Workshop on Web Enabling. In May, a School on Neural Information Processing. In September, COSMO99, a conference on astroparticles. In October, a Workshop on Industrial Mathematics. And in December, ICTP will travel to Caracas, Venezuela, where it will cosponsor the Ibero-American School on Astrobiology.
