LIFE BEYOND EARTH
"Searching for Life on Mars, Jupiter and Saturn." That's the topic of Tobias Owen's public lecture scheduled for 9 October at 17:30 in downtown Trieste at the Scuola Superiore di Lingue Moderne, via Filzi 14. Owen is a well-known astrophysicist from the University of Hawaii who has served as part of the research team for several interplanetary space missions sponsored by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), including the Viking, Voyager, Galileo and Cassini missions. The event, which is open to the public, has been organized by ICTP in cooperation with the Faculty of Sciences of Trieste University and Immaginario Scientifico.
