Two activities are planned in February at the ICTP. Between February 1 and 19, ICTP will hold the Second School on the Use of Radio for Digital Communications in Developing Countries, including Spectrum Management. The school is organized in cooperation with the International Union of Radio Science (URSI), Gent, Belgium, and the Telecommunications Development Bureau of the International Telecommunication Union (BDT-ITU), Geneva, Switzerland. Then, between 8 to 26 February, the ICTP will organize the Winter College on Spectroscopy and Applications. The aim of the college is to inform participants about the most recent advances in the research and use of laser spectroscopy.
