Faheem Hussain has been elected staff representative and Edoardo Nattelli alternate of the ICTP Local Section of the United Nations Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (UNESCO) Staff Union. The Local Section currently consists of 123 ICTP staff members. In a letter to the members, Hussain and Nattelli thanked the staff for their vote of confidence and stated that they would call a meeting early this fall to discuss "the latest developments in ICTP personnel 'provisions' and other staff-related matters." Both newly elected officers will serve two-year terms.
