A School and Conference on Spatiotemporal Chaos, designed for physicists, mathematicians and biologists, will take place from 8 to 19 July in the Kastler Lecture Hall of the Adriatico Guesthouse. Lecture titles include: Waves in Excitable Media, Computations in Nonlinear Media, Subcritical Transition to Turbulence, Synchronization in Chaotic Systems, and Aspects of Spatiotemporal Models of Social Dynamics. Some 120 individuals from more than 20 countries are expected to attend.
