The Republic of Benin has issued a stamp celebrating the 4th Edward Bouchet International Conference held in the capital city Cotonou between 6 and 10 August 2001. The stamp shows a portrait of Abdus Salam and an aerial view of Miramare Castle. ICTP has been hosting and sponsoring Edward Bouchet conferences and councils since the foundation of the institute in 1988. The stamp is on permanent display in the ICTP Library.
