Two inter-related workshops on "Climate Variability in the Twentieth Century" will be held at ICTP from 19 to 30 April. The first workshop will involve the use of both ocean-forced atmospheric general circulation models and observed data to study climate variations and changes over the past 130 years. The second workshop will review current knowledge on ocean variability on such large-scale phenomena as the El Nino-Southern Oscillation. For additional information, see www.ictp.it.
