The School on Radio Science for South Asian Scientists, organized by ICTP's Aeronomy and Radiopropagation Laboratory, will be held in Trieste from 6-15 November. The International Host Lab Experiment on the Synthesis of Nanomaterials by Thermal Plasmas, an ICTP activity cohosted by the University of Pune's Department of Physics and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, will take place in Pune, India, from 17 November to 1 December. The Second Central American Regional Course on Advanced VLSI Design Techniques, organized by ICTP's Microprocessor Laboratory, will take place in Puebla, Mexico, from 29 November-17 December. The course will mark the close the ICTP scientific activities for 2004.
