Twenty-four students have received their diplomas marking the successful completion of their year-long Diploma Course studies. The ‘graduation’ ceremony, in which 18 students were present to receive their certificates, was held on 29 August. ICTP Director, K.R. Sreenivasan presided. The Class of 2005 marks the Diploma Course Programme’s 13th year. The programme enables promising university students from the world’s least developed countries to pursue their studies in high energy physics, condensed matter physics and mathematics. Members of the Class of 2006 are expected to arrive at ICTP early next month.

Diploma Class 2005
