After the successful workshop on "Economic Development for Physicists from Developing Countries" held in 2006, ICTP is co-organizing the Workshop on Entrepreneurship for Physicists and Engineers from Developing Countries. It is designed for scientists in developing countries who wish to learn about intellectual property issues and entrepreneurial skills, and about how scientific knowledge can be used for economic development. Grants are available. The deadline for applications is 15 December 2007. The workshop in co-sponsored by the APS, Area Science Park, IOP, IUPAP and the Royal Academy of Engineering.
