Eremology
UNESCO inaugurates new Chair at Ghent University
Professor Donald Gabriels of Ghent University, Belgium, who has been one of the directors of the ICTP Colleges on Soil Physics since 1983, will be inducted to the UNESCO Chair on Eremology in a ceremony to be held at Ghent on 22 January. Filippo Giorgi, Head of the ICTP Earth System Physics section, will be the keynote speaker.
