The Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, Professor Atta-ur-Rahman, has generously agreed that Pakistani scientists wishing to visit ICTP may be supported by the Higher Education Commission, provided that work in public sector universities. Applicants would be required to go through the normal ICTP selection process and selected candidates would be forwarded to the HEC for its approval and action.
